Midsummer Night's Dream – 2002
Among the most popular of all Shakespeare’s comedies, this play humorously celebrates the vagaries of love. With its several pairs of lovers, on-again, off-again romances, magic spells, fairies, and a bumbling troupe of would-be actors, the play continues to enchant audiences.
Sean took to the stage alongside some amazing actors for the benefit reading of "Midsummer Nights Dream" for Shakespeare LA. The event, which took part at Geffen Playhouse in Westwood, LA had a cast of Tom Hanks, Brent Spiner, Martin Short, Peter Krause, Richard Moll, Angela Bassett, Martin Sheen, Michael Jeter, Tracey Ullman, Rita Wilson, Christina Applegate, and of course Sean. He read the role of Demetrius, opposite Christina Applegate and Tracey Ullman, while Tom Hanks played the part of Bottom and Martin Short the role of Puck.
